In Memoriam: George Agoston
It is with sadness that we announce the passing of George Agoston, who died October 22, 2008 at the age of 89. George served in Paris as Assistant Editor of Leonardo from 1970 to 1982, working closely with Leonardo founder Frank Malina in the early years. He is survived by his wife, Marjorie; daughter, Anna; and sons Serge and Max. George's family is close to completing a web site about George and his work. 2008 Nanoconnections Week, Valencia Spain
The YASMIN network, co-sponsored by Leonardo/Olats, will have a presence at the 2008 Nanoconnections Week in Valencia, Spain, November 10-14, 2008. Inspired by the NISE Nanodays series, this event will explore art, science and the social repercussions of nanotechnology with panels and interactive events, including lectures by Leonardo Network members Victoria Vesna, Julien Knebusch, Laura M.
