The winner of the 2021 Juana Goergen Poetry Prize, Pedro Poitevin is a bilingual experimental poet living in Marblehead, Massachusetts. Among his notable experiments are "A Doomsday Prayer for the Polluting Ape," quite possibly the longest sonnet in the world, as well as ten million palindromic sonnets in Spanish. He is Associate Professor of Mathematics at Salem State University.
