Yin Yu is an interdisciplinary artist. Her work investigates human perceptions through the intersection of built environments, multisensory design, and emerging technologies 
Yu’s works have been published and exhibited in international venues, such as the Human-Computer Interaction, the Haptic and Audio Interaction Design, the Wearable Technology Exhibition, the Expanded Animation Symposium at Ars Electronica, the Xenakis22 Symposium, and International Symposium of Electronic Art. 
She has a Bachelor of Science in Electronic Engineering, a Master of Science in Information Technology, a Master of Science in Interior Architecture, and a Doctorate in Media Arts and Technology.
