Dr Wolfgang Muench is a media artist and academic currently holding the position of Dean, Learning, Teaching & Research at LASALLE College of the Arts, Singapore. His interactive media artworks have been shown in numerous international exhibitions and media festivals. He studied Fine Arts in Stuttgart and Vienna and joined the ZKM Centre for Art and Media, Karlsruhe, in 1996 as a software designer. He taught Media Art at Merz-Academy Stuttgart, the Hong Kong Art Centre, and LASALLE, and was Artist-in-Residence at ZKM, ARS Electronica Linz and IAMAS Japan. In 2017, he received his PhD from the University of Vienna.
