Alex Garcia Topete is a writer and filmmaker currently pursuing a doctorate in Arts, Technology and Emerging Communications at the University of Texas at Dallas, focusing on transdisciplinary exchange & collaboration methodologies. He has more than 10 years of experience working in the media industry in Mexico and the United States, aside from academic pursuits, having worked for Sony Pictures Television International, National Public Radio, and Mexico’s Televisa, among others.
