OPEN CALL: AI for Good: Art Program

Dates or Deadline:
29 February 2020

AI for Good: Art Program

While AI technologies offer artists and creatives a range of exciting new tools and opportunities, it is in the creation of contexts and the negotiation of what matters to us where the true meaning of the work of artists starts to emerge. As the development of AI raises an array of important questions and challenges, we need skilled translators and facilitators to allow us to reflect and inspire these changes. Hence, a comprehensive discourse must include as many voices as possible in order to identify positive visions of how AI may be used for our maximum benefit.
The aim of the AI for Good exhibition and art program is to expand the otherwise highly technological debate on the possibilities and limits of AI to include application-oriented cultural and social perspectives.

Open Call

This call is addressing artists working with or around the topic of AI. Applicants may stem from disciplines such as interactive art, performance, computer animation, film, and visual effects, digital communities and social media, hybrid art, data art, and sculptural art. The artwork or performance will be presented within the context of AI for Good Global Summit 2020.

Would you like to connect with a global community of AI innovators, problem owners, and sustainable development experts? Are you willing to share your art and ideas on how to achieve a sustainable future?

To apply to be part of the AI for Good exhibition and art program, you will need to complete the application via our application platform until 29 February.
