LABS Seeks Reviewers for Graduate Abstracts
As the English language editor of Leonardo Abstract Services (LABS) I am writing to invite you to join other peer reviewers this coming summer to assess the 2018-19 abstract submissions. Leonardo is the MIT publication devoted to the intersection of art, science and technology. The LABS database, which is well over ten years old, can be found at collections.pomona.edu/labs
Peer reviewing occurs in July of each year. Peer reviewers are sent a ranking form to fill out. If some questions arise about a few of the rankings, peer reviewers are contacted a second time for input. Usually there are between 40 - 75 abstracts to review. Prior reviewers have reported that they find the process enjoyable and informative.
Please let me know if you are willing and able to join the peer reviewers this coming summer. Thank you in advance for your prompt response to this request. I look forward to hearing from you.
