Girls Who Code club is calling for applications
The School of Arts Media and Engineering is hosting a Girls Who Code club this spring. This club introduces girls to the world of coding in a fun & friendly environment and are on a mission to close the gender gap in technology. Clubs learn from fun and simple online coding tutorials, build community through interactive activities, learn about inspiring role models, and work to design and build a Girls Who Code Project that solves real-world problems through code! No coding experience is necessary.
This semester's club at AME will focus on code from a 3D tools and interactive design perspective, and is open to girls in grades 6th to 12th. Meetings will be virtual. Check out the PDF here.
