To strengthen our team at the Faculty of Education, Arts and Architecture/Department for Image Science we are looking for an

Academic Assistant (Postdoc) (m/f/d)

Your tasks
●       Participation in the research project “Teaching and research
infrastructure for Digital Arts in Higher Education (LeFo)”
●       Responsibility for the development of exploratory data analysis
and visualization for the “Archive of Digital Art”
●       Further technical development of the Media Art Research
Thesaurus

Your profile
●       Degree (PhD/doctorate) in the area of IT, Data Studies, or
Digital Humanities
●       Compatible research (projects, publications or presentations) in
Media Art research and the Archive of Digital Art
●       Experience in the area of Digital Humanities, particularly with
relational Databases (SQL), knowledge organization systems,
computational data analysis
●       Publication and teaching experience
●       Excellent written and spoken English (minimum B2)
●       High communication and organizational skills
●       Ability to work independently and in teams
●       Willingness to work in an interdisciplinary, international team
●       Programming skills are an advantage (e.g. Python, R)

Your perspective
●       A part-time position (20 hours per week - flexible working
hours) for an initial placement of one year with the possibility of
extension until April 2024 and a gross monthly salary of EUR 3,600 on a
full-time basis, willingness to overpay for appropriate qualifications
and professional experience
