Kristian Derek Ball is a Sound Artist, Designer, Audio engineer, author, and lecturer. Artistic works, recordings, exhibits and International collaborations span 5 continents, and his collaborative project Fire Arms #4 has been both distributed Nationally and Internationally, and holds a permanent place in the Franklin Furnace Archive (a division of Multi-Media Art of the Museum of Modern Art New York). He earned his MFA in Theatrical Sound Design/Music Production at the University of Missouri Kansas City and a BFA from the Kansas City Art Institute in Sound Art for Performance, Film and Installation. He currently is the adjunct professor of Sound Design and Technology for the Department of Theatre at Lehigh University and Audio Coordinator at Zoellner Arts Center.
