Allan Graubard — poet, playwright, critic — lives in Manhattan with his wife, actress and master theater teacher, Caroline McGee. With works are translated into numerous languages, he appears in small and large publications internationally. In parallel, he is senior editor at Oxford University Press, where he conceives and launches major digital reference works in the Earth and Environmental Sciences. He finds little distinction between the dictates of the imagination and that of reason, which is why he pursues both indistinguishably. Leonardo has featured a special on him and his oeuvres, and he has numerous book reviews published in the journal.
