Mark Patterson's work reflects his intuitive interest in spatial relationships. This manifests primarily in landscape design and in 2D and 3D mosaics. It also is reflected in the spatial relationships of ideas - where writing can become a medium for juxtaposing concepts in fluid natural forms. However I pay the rent working for a software company. This challenges me to exercise my intuitive interests in unexpected ways. Sometimes then the work becomes complementary to art. And even if not, it always provides a good practice.
