George Gessert is an artist and writer. His visual work has been exhibited widely in the US, Europe, and Australia, and his writings have appeared in many publications. A book, Green Light, was published by MIT Press. He has received a Pushcart Prize, and was included by David Foster Wallace in Best American Essays.
