Nessreen Y. Ibrahim is an assistant professor at m Applied Arts Faculty, Helwan University, Cairo, Egypt. She had been studying, teaching, and practicing visual arts, multimedia, interactive design, environmental, and future design. Her researches have covered a wide range of topics in Art and Science, which have provided her with the opportunity to draw connections between four main aspects; Design, Art, Technology, and Future. In 2007, she had won the IDW’07 award (Sapporo, Japan). Recently, in 2018 she won the 5th IAAC Prototype Award (Cairo, Egypt). She got a visiting Fulbright art grant at Colorado State University (Fort Collins, CO, USA). She had also several participations in art and design exhibitions (focuses on “Feminism in Arab countries” and “Future Design”), international workshops, and academic exchanges.
