Jasna graduated as a jazz saxophone player on Franc List Music Academy in Budapest, earned Master in Music Composition at York University in Toronto. She is now working on Doctoral dissertation in Transdisciplinary Studies of Contemporary Arts in Belgrade, focusing on jazz and free improvised music and the gender performativity in relation to affect theory within a jazz discourse. She studied and won artist in residency programs in San Francisco,New York, Banff, Washington, Graz, Brazil, Spain, and India, and won competitions in Milan, Ljubljana and Budapest. 

Jasna performed her work in Europe, US, and Canada on meny national and international festivals, recorded dozen albums as a side man. "Invented Reality", "The Sound of Birds", " Dharma-Travellers", " Flow Vertical" (FMR Records), and "Informal Shapes" are her solo albums with her original music. She playes saxophones, bass clarinet, spacedrum, teaches music and music methodologies on University level, leads NGO artistis projects,she is a licenced yoga teacher, and active in the affirmation of female musicians. Jasna leads New Spark Jazz Orchestra- Balkan Women in Jazz, and is active in multidisciplinary artistic projects. 

Jasna uses bio-signals ( vibrations, brain waves) as the crutial element in her compositional process and improvisational techniques. She is a free improviser, using a human body as a mediator, affected and affecting other bodies in the process of music making.
