Eugen Petcu is an academic pathologist at Griffith University School of Medicine, Australia while holding several international professorships. He is interested in regenerative medicine, with a special focus on the role of angiogenesis in tissue regeneration. He is the founder of a tertiary course in anatomy for artists and conducts research in neuroaesthetics-neurobiology of art. In addition, he is the Editor-in-Chief of Vascular Cell (IF=3.87, www.vascularcell.com) and is active in several international professional organizations.
