Stefaan Van Ryssen

Stefaan Van Ryssen studied economics and sociology at University of Ghent, Belgium and has earned a postgraduate degree in Artificial Intelligence and Knowledge Engineering. Along with serving as Coordinator 'Marketing of the Arts' at Hogeschool Gent, he has published 'De hoop van Pandora' on the use of ICT in Higher Education, as well as short stories and poetry and has participated in exhibitions. Passionately interested in the interstitials between art, science, philosophy and socio-economic processes, he has recently been exploring the concept of "beauty" in math and the similarity or difference between processes of innovation in business, art, and academia.
