Bin Yu (b. China, 1988) is an HCI researcher and data designer based in Eindhoven. In 2010, he obtained dual bachelor’s degrees in industrial design and biomedical engineering at Chongqing University and afterward continued his Master’s study in healthcare design at Northeastern University. In 2018, he obtained his PhD in biofeedback design. His research explores the intersection of biofeedback technology and arts, interaction design, and physiological computing, especially focusing on the visualization, sonification and materialization of physiological data.
