Klaus Spiess heads the Art&Science Program at the Medical University Vienna as an associate professor. Together with Lucie Strecker he has directed performances related to medicine at the Tanzquartier Vienna, Belvedere Vienna, Budascoop Kortrijk, Ars Electronica and Click Festival Helsingöre and has exhibited performance installations at the CyberArts OK Center, the Beall Center for Art + Technology, UCI, Onassis Center Athens and Bemis Center of Contemporary Arts (Omaha). Both published their transdisciplinary research in Performance Research, Diaphanes and The Lancet.
