Paul Walsh is Professor of Computer Science at Cork Institute of Technology. He holds a Ph.D., M.Sc. and B.Sc. (Hons) in Computer Science from the National University of Ireland, and has a long list of publications including outstanding paper awards. His work has been funded under national and international research schemes such as the EU FP7 and Horizon 2020 programs, through which he has overseen research in data analytics, machine learning and high performance computing.
