Paul Messier is the Pritzker Director of the Lens Media Lab (LML) at Yale's Institute for the Preservation of Cultural Heritage. Founded in 2015, the LML develops data-driven approaches for preserving and interpreting art and cultural material. Messier's research goals are focused on the creation, dissemination and interpretation of large datasets derived from museum collections as well as from reference materials.
