Joyce Tsai is curator at the University of Iowa Museum of Art and clinical associate professor at the College of Education, the University of Iowa. Tsai has published on art, politics and technology in Artforum, Journal of the Institute of Conservation, History of Photography, among others. She is recently curator of Shape of Things to Come (2015, Santa Barbara Museum of Art) and author of Painting after Photography, winner of the Phillips Collection Book Prize, forthcoming with the University of California Press.
