Miriama Young

Web: miriamayoung.com. Young is a composer, sound artist and writer, on the faculty at The University of Melbourne Conservatorium of Music (VCA & MCM). Her work explores the human voice and its body through music, sound art and prose. She creates both acoustic and technologically mediated sound and music for the concert hall, and for film, dance, radio and art installations. Her monograph Singing the Body Electric—The Human Voice and Sound Technology was published by Ashgate (Routledge) in 2015.
