Hasan Ashayeri (b. 1941)
Is an Iranian neuroscientist, neuropsychologist, and professor of medical sciences in Iran. He is a graduate of the University of Freiburg.

Laily Mahoozi, MD, FRCP
She left for England at age seven, where she had her schooling and further education in Medicine. Then she continued her specialisations in Internal Medicine, Endocrinology and Neuroendocrinology in the United States. She has been practicing and living in Tehran since 2007, where She manages and treats the majority of patients with Pituitary disease in Iran and the region. Her passion is the melding of art and science, fortifying science with the wonder of imagination and enriching the arts with knowledge. The subject She will be discussing is the transmutation of the Pituitary gland and it's hormones into the wonderland of Eastern Mysticism. Her mission is to view Medicine with a new attitude, breaking the boundaries of logic hence creating new possibilities for scientists and artists alike.

Hadi Moradi, Ph.D, University of Southern California (USC)
Associate Professor, Machine Intelligence and Robotics School of Electric and Computer Engineering University of Tehran Had Moradi is a researcher in the eld of robotics and intelligent systems. He has designed several robots inspired from biological creatures. He is also interested in the design and development of intelligent toys and games. In this talk, he would explain his experience in the art of learning from biological systems and the art of hiding the shortcomings of engineering.

Amir Nasri, Associate Professor, Philosphy of Art Faculty of Persian literature and Foreign languages , Allameh Tabataba'i University Tehran, Iran (Islamic Republic of)

Amir Nasri received his BA degree in philosophy from Tehran University and his MA in Western Philosophy and PhD in Philosophy of Art from Allameh Tabataba'i University. Since 2009, he has been a faculty member of Philosophy of Art at Allameh Tabataba'i University. He has authored 19 research papers and 2 books in Persian. He has translated 8 books into Persian, including the works of Roger Scruton, Hans Blumenberg, Karl Jaspers and he has compiled two books from articles on topics of philosophy of art. He is the associate editor of Kimia-ye-Honar journal of art in Iran. His main research interests include: image studies , aesthetics and visual culture. In this talk, he would explain about his recent studies on Faces and particularly CyberFace as a new term.

Soroush Gharehbaghi, M.Sc, University of Tehran

Is a recent graduate of computer software engineering, a developer, researcher and artist dedicated to exploring new modes of expression and play. In this talk, he would discuss B.E.T(brain extraction tool). BET is a collection of interactive image analysis tools designed to process on real-time scan of the human brain. It provides an automatic sequence to extract cortical surface mesh models from the Image, tools to register these to a labeled atlas to dene anatomical regions of interest, and tools for processing diusion imaging data. It also contains visualization tools for exploring these data, and can produce interactive maps of regional connectivity.
