LASER Talks at Cambridge, UK

LASER (Leonardo Art Science Evening Rendezvous) is Leonardo/ISAST's international program of evening gatherings that brings artists and scientists together for informal presentations and conversations.

CHAIRS: Satinder Gill and Harriet Loffler

The Cambridge LASER questios the separation and propogation of art and science as distinct categories of knowing, being and making. It asks: What is creativity in science and the arts? What is experimental practice in art, science, or philosophy? Where do scientific and artistic attitudes, inquiries, methods overlap? How do they differ and complement each other? Can such understanding help shape our technological, urban, health, and environmental futures?

We launch this discussion with an all women panel of leaders and pioneers in the arts, science and technology nexus.
