In celebration of Leonardo/ISAST’s 50th year, and as we look forward to our next 50, we would like to acknowledge rising interdisciplinary authors and artists we are calling “emerging Leonardos.”
The following emerging Leonardos have recently received honors through Leonardo programs.
- Aura Pon received the highest ranking in 2018 of graduate thesis abstracts submitted to the LABS (Leonardo Abstracts Service) database. This database is located online at collections.pomona.edu/labs/.
- Tobias Klein received the top paper award for Art Papers selected for 2018 SIGGRAPH conference and publication in the 2018 Leonardo SIGGRAPH special issue.
- Mirjana Prpa and Nicole L'Huillier were individually recognized for their contributions to the Art Gallery at the 2018 SIGGRAPH conference and publication in the 2018 Leonardo SIGGRAPH special issue.
We look forward with great anticipation to the future contributions by these emerging Leonardos to the Art-Sci-Tech community.
