Darlene Tong is a librarian at San Francisco State University. Her responsibilities at SFSU include coordinating the new library building project, library instruction and collection development for art, architecture, dance and design subject areas, and serving as head of Information Services and department co-chair. Tong has presented material on alternative arts of the 70's-80's and archiving new media.   In addition to serving on the Leonardo/ISAST Board, Tong also serves on the Advisory Board of The Poetry Center and American Poetry Archives and on the Board of Directors of La Mamelle/Art Com, a non-profit artist organization that has supported artist activities incorporating new ideas and technologies, including performance, on-line computer, and electronic formats.
