Barry Blundell
Barry Blundell received
his first degree and PhD in Physics from the University of Manchester
(UK). Since the mid-1980's his research has centered on the development
of new forms of 3-D display and interaction interfaces. In this area
he has published three books with John Wiley NY, the most recent released
in 2007. He has held academic positions in physics, engineering, and
computer science departments, and his research interests focus on creative
technologies. His teaching focuses on the development of transdisciplinary
courses that bring together students from both the traditional arts
and sciences. He is currently working at AUT University in Auckland,
New Zealand, where he is involved in the establishment of a new degree
program, a Bachelor of Creative Technology.
