Leonardo Announcement
Leonardo/Olats Co-Sponsors REDCATSUR Network for Latin America
REDCATSUR is a network of artists, scientists, engineers,
theoreticians and institutions promoting communication and
collaboration in art, science and technology around Latin
America.
REDCATSUR welcomes discussions and critical analysis in the
field of art, science and technology around the Latin
America as well as information on events, artists' works,
organizations' programmes, projects, initiatives. REDCATSUR
does not intend to duplicate other efforts in this area.
REDCATSUR proposes itself as an open space for discussion
and collaboration, more than solely for information
exchange. REDCATSUR aims to facilitate cooperation within
the Latin America but is open to individuals and
organizations from all regions.
A list with regional correspondents of REDCATSUR is in
development (see below).
The REDCATSUR mailing list is being sponsored by AMAUTA
(http://www.amautaproject.org/) and CEIArtE/UNTreF, the
Electronic Arts Experimenting and Research Centre from
National University of Tres de Febrero
(http://www.ceiarte.untref.edu.ar). It is co-sponsored by
Leonardo / Observatoire des Arts et Technosciences
(http://www.olats.org). Other organisations in helping
sustain the network are invited to contact us:
redcatsur@redcatsur.net.
