Therese Lahaie,
				                           Three Solar
				                Illuminated
				        Sculptures,
				               spun and welded
steel, photovoltaic panel, electric light, gel
cell batteries, 1996. The sculptures are viewer-
activated through a motion sensor that switches
on a motor, which swings a counter-weighted arm.
The moving weight imparts a slow spinning motion
to the buoy as it stops and starts, creating
		      viewer-activated
		 choreography.
